Recently I have started to participate in Twitter.  We are trying to use it as another way that we can communicate with our people and those that may be interested in our ministry.  We have people that are becoming followers all the time.  I am certainly “technically challenged” and yet I am amazed at how easy it is to use.  I have also been amazed at the amount of information that you can share or gather in a 140 character message.

It is very user friendly and easy to control.  You can do as little or much as you like.  You can receive as little or much as you like.  I have found that it does not take much time because I am not spending my time stressing over what is next.

It is a great way to share information.  It is short and to the point.  It is also a great way to be encouraged.  It is also helping me be more aware of using that which goes on around me to encourage someone else.  It is much more valuable than I thought it would be.

I would encourage you to give it a try.  You can just go to the web page and click on twitter and it will give you very clear directions.  I would also encourage you to share it with other people.  It is another tool that we can use for the glory of the Lord.  Others may find it interesting and it may well give you some great opportunities for ministry in the lives of others.
