With Great Anticipation

I am very excited about the prospects of our service tomorrow night.  One of the real challenges of the Easter season is trying to take the message of the cross and resurrection and apply it to our daily lives. When we live in a religious society, we tend to separate the two.  Sometimes we make the mistake of using a “religious” time of the year to be merely an escape from the challenges and issues of everyday life.  The power of the cross and the reality of the resurrection is the key element in dealing with any challenge in life.

Our service tomorrow night will be a wonderful reminder of that eternal truth. We will see the life of Christ and how He went to the cross, we will experience the meaning of the Lord’s Supper, and we will see how Christ changes lives as you see live examples of how God can deal with every situation.   I can’t think of anything that could possible be more relevant to where we live.  This will be a great time of instruction, worship, and inspiration. It is a time for the entire family.  It is a real opportunity for you to invite a lost person or those who may be confused about the place of Christ in their life.  It will be a wonderful experience for the believer.  All types of things are going to take place.  I have great anticipation about what God is going to do in our midst this weekend.
