Yesterday after speaking at Marketshare, one of our men came up to me and asked me to pray for him. He said God had given him some opportunities to reach into the lives of some he worked with and be a Christian witness. He said to me, “I don’t know why but the Lord had brought these people into my path and I want to make sure that I am faithful with the opportunities.”

To hear such a testimony is thrilling to me and I told him so. It is always great to hear people who are being salt and light in the culture. So many of you have opportunities that I will never have. God has put you in a position to touch someone elses’ life. It may be to give a word of encouragement in terms of a marriage, which was the case here. It may be an opportunity to share your story or to give a word of encouragement or comfort. Whatever the case, a believer in America today is on the front line and there is no doubt that God is giving you opportunities. He does that for all of us. The only question is whether we are using it or not.

As we approach Easter the opportunities become more apparent.  Who are you touching? Who have you invited to be a part of our Easter weekend.  It is very possible that it could make all the difference.
