It seems as though there is some type of bad news every day.  It is easy to get caught up in a discouraging climate.  As believers, this is a time for us to be very positive.  We serve a risen Saviour.  We offer to people hope and vision and a chance to change the world. We as believers must constantly remind ourselves of the task that God has put before us.  Jesus is Lord and that is certainly a reason to be excited, no matter what the circumstances.

In Acts 3: 2-6, a lame or crippled man approaches Peter expecting a contribution. Peter says I don’t have any money for you, but what I have I give to you.  And he instructed the man to get up and walk…which he did.  Many times people are mistaken about what they really need.  We have what they need more than anything else, and that is the opportunity to know the Saviour.

Approach the day with a positive outlook, realizing that God gives you the opportunity to live and share the truth. Wherever you go, the Lord has put you there to make a difference.
