I don’t think anybody really understands what is happening in our economy.  There are many people that have theories but just when you think you have a handle on it, the economy takes another turn.  It is obvious that no one knows what to do.

There is an economy that we can understand.  That is God’s economic system.  One of the reasons America is in the state we are in is that we have tried to do things in our way.  We are a culture that is driven by greed.

The Bible teaches that all we have belongs to Him.  He has allowed us to be stewards of what He has provided for us.   How can we expect God to honor what we do when we refuse to be obedient in the area of stewardship?  When we violate this principle, the Bible clearly says we are robbing God!

Recent statistics show that Christians give less than 2.5% of their income to any charitable cause including the local church.  We need to honor God with our time, our talent, and our treasure.  We are to bring at least one-tenth of what God has given to us.  Anything less is not Biblical!

We would be amazed to see what God would do if we would trust Him in this area.  He has promised to take care of those who are obedient.  His Word is clear!  It is an economy that we can understand.

In an uncertain time, following God’s economic principles in our personal lives is the only way to go!  Will you be found faithful?
