Home Concert
The last two weekends have given us great opportunities to share the gospel. Our concerts in Bluffton and San Diego were both very well received and made a tremendous difference to those churches that are being started in those areas. This Sunday night we have the opportunity to experience that personally as our choir and orchestra will perform our home concert. The program includes the toy soldiers, snowmen, and other characters, as well as a wonderful presentation of the true meaning of Christmas.
This is a great opportunity for you to invite someone; in fact, this is one of the reasons we have prepared the 12 days of Christmas in this way. It is my hope that you will use this as a tool to invite friends, neighbors, co-workers, family members, or others that might benefit from hearing the gospel message in such a creative and beautiful way. We are in important part of this program in that we should use every opportunity we have to convey the real message of Christmas. So many people are missing it.
We continue to have great response from our work in the schools and from the e-share that we sent out earlier this week. If you have not done so, I would encourage you to pass on that video e-mail to your entire address book. I have had a number of responses from people who have found it to be meaningful. This is a time when we not only need to be thinking about our celebration of Christmas, but also how we can convey the message of Christ to every person we possibly can.
