What are you saying?
This morning I was reading in Psalm 107 and came across these words in verse 2. “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.” There is a chorus that has been written using these words. I got this chorus on my mind and I could not get it off my mind for several hours. It gave me new energy as I was approaching a very busy day with a long list of things to do.
As I began to go item by item down the list, I realized that chorus being on my mind made me more aggressive and productive.
What will be the attitude of your life today? What will be the message that you communicate during the day? Will you spend your day reacting to difficult circumstances or will you follow the words of Scripture, “let the redeemed of the Lord say so” How can you say it?
You can say it with your conversation. Your words send a very clear message to those around you.
You can say it with your actions. Do they reflect the priority that the Lord should be in your life? Can people see that your life is committed to your redeemer?
You can say it with your investments. I am not talking about the stock market. I am talking about the investment that you make for the Lord in the lives of people. When we use our resources to invest in the kingdom, there is a tremendous profit.
You can say it with your service. Who are you planning to touch today for the glory of the Lord? In a world that is built on looking out for number 1, you can show the love of our redeemer to others.
You can say it with your witness. Starting where we live, we are to go into all the world in order to share the gospel. If you are a follower of Christ, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.”

Nice writing. You are on my RSS reader now so I can read more from you down the road.
