Right now life in America is like a roller coaster. Up one moment and down the next. We wait to see what the market is going to do, whether it will be 300 points down or 100 points up.  Despite what the politicians are saying and even the presidential candidates, it is hard to find an answer to the problems that plague us as a nation.  Therefore, we are now falling into a pattern of living one day at a time. We really don’t know what tomorrow is going to bring. It is a time of great uncertainty and no matter what is being said in the media, we have to adopt the attitude of waiting to see what tomorrow brings.

The interesting thing about this is that’s the way we are supposed to live. We are not promised another day or even another hour. Jesus said that we are not to worry about tomorrow, but to live for today. Christians, therefore, have the answer. It is a dependence upon the Lord. The crowd around us is shouting in panic. We should be saying with great confidence and a sense of security that we know who is in control. Our hope is in the Lord Jesus and His Holy Spirit that works in us and through us as we seek to obey Him. Everyone feels the challenge, but no matter what your personal circumstance or position, you have an opportunity to show others that there is hope in Christ.
