I Am Excited About Sunday
I can’t wait for Sunday to get here. There are so many great things that are going to take place. We’ll get to see a video that is a report on the activities of the summer. This will be shown during a number by our choir and orchestra entitled God of This City. It’s a great video surrounded by an extremely powerful song, and while it is only a segment of three or four minutes, it will be worth coming just for that.
I am also excited about the beginning of our sermon series, Running on Empty. As I have been studying how Jesus encountered people in need, I am constantly reminded of people that this series will touch. You know some of them, and it is our responsibility to invite them to be there. It is high attendance day in Bible Fellowship. What a tremendous Bible Fellowship we have, and we should never take it for granted. Everyone should be in their place. It is going to be a great day, and I am asking you to join me in praying that God will use it in the hearts and lives of people. I look forward to seeing you Sunday.

I am so excited about this new series! Your description of Nicodemus and his journey in getting to know Jesus really touched me. If even Nicodemus, a man who in the world’s opinion seemed to “have it all”, could humble himself and admit there was something missing in his life and that he was not perfect on his own, then surely I can do the same! Your messages never cease to inspire me and keep me going…thank you for sharing with us the gift that God has given to you.
