School Projects
This Saturday large numbers of our people will be going into 33 schools in our county just to be of service in the name of the Lord. Our people will be doing everything you can possibly imagine. This is a tremendous help to our schools as they prepare to start a new year and they are very grateful for the help.
We do it because we want people to know that we care about the families in our area. We do not do it just as a matter of civic pride or responsibility. Our desire is that through serving our community, people wonder why we are doing this and therefore give us the chance to the give witness and tell them our story.
When we make ourselves available to Him, we never know what type of opportunity God is going to provide and how He is going to use it. We keep doing what we are supposed to do and God will use it in the lives of people.
It is so thrilling to hear about the plans that our Bible Fellowship classes have to make a difference in these schools. I would encourage you to take part in this project. You will receive a blessing in serving so unselfishly. These projects make a difference and many times will lead to us being able to share our story of what God has done for us in Jesus Christ.
Don’t take these opportunities for granted. God is in the business of using what we might call a small opportunity to do some big things in the lives of people. Next week people all across this county will be talking about what you have done and my prayer is that they will realize that we do it for no other reason than to share how much Jesus loves them.
