Tomorrow is the beginning of the “tax free” weekend. That is a sure sign that school is just around the corner. I am married to a teacher and she is counting down the days and the hours. This is a time of adjustment whether you have kids in school or not.

People are making decisions about various parts of their lives. They are starting to look at making some changes. You see it in the news reports, you heart it in conversations and you see it in the actions of the people. They are in the process of wrapping up the summer and getting ready for the fall. All of that is more intense this year because of the circumstances economically and politically that we are hearing about 24/7.

People are looking for answers and they are only going to be found in a relationship with Jesus. Now is a great time to be reaching out to those around you and inviting them to church. That is the way that the body of Christ works.

As a believer we possess something that has a value that is beyond calculation. We sometimes forget that when we are trying to determine how we can help our friends and family members during times of opportunity and challenge, we neglect to share with them that which is most important. People feel needy but what they need more than anything is for someone to share with them how they can know the living God.

Now is a great time to tell your story! There are many that are willing to listen.
