We are only a few days away from our Vacation Bible School. This is a tremendous opportunity for us to touch the lives of kids as well as their families. There is a great deal of work that is going on here. The hours and hours of preparation are going to bear tremendous fruit. This does not happen just because some folks decided to show up. A lot of people have been working very hard because they care about our kids and they care about their place in eternity.

Many of us have had experience with Bible School over the years and probably have a tendency to take it for granted. This is a powerful tool. I can assure you that the program is going to be terrific. One of the keys is getting the word out. This is a tool that you can use to share with your friends, family members, and co-workers. There is not a better place that they can have their child during the mornings next week. I would encourage you not to just watch from the distance, but to be an active participant by inviting your friends and by making this a matter of prayer. Let us join together to ask God to use it in the right way. Each of these children is certainly important to the Lord and we should not take for granted the opportunity that we have to touch them with the gospel.
