Yesterday Johnny Hunt was elected President of the Southern Baptist Convention. I believe this is a very positive move for Southern Baptists and those who are interested in evangelism and missions. We must constantly be reminded of the importance of the local church. It is a tool that God uses to make a difference. The Lord has used Johnny in that area and he will be a tremendous model for us in the coming year.

The Convention is not over, but I am on my way back from Indianapolis. I have a desire to be home and be a part of our G.R.O.W. activity in the life of our Bible Fellowship. I was so excited last week to hear the tremendous comments of how people participated and enjoyed that activity. I am looking forward to the same type of response tonight. I really believe it is the best place I could be. I certainly hope that you are planning to be a part of your Bible Fellowship group tonight. If you don’t have one, please call our office and we’ll mare sure you get to the right place.
