Grow Groups
Tonight all of our Bible fellowship groups met as grow groups. They are trying to come up with a “grow plan” for their particular class.
I had a chance to attend one of those groups and it was a great experience. The food was good, we enjoyed being together and the discussion was very productive. As I sat there, I was so grateful for the way the leadership of these classes is so excited about their responsibility to touch people through the powerful tool of Bible Fellowship.
We take it for granted. We assume that all the people that we live around and work with have the same opportunities to be taught the Word of God and have meaningful relationships that we have. That is not the case!
A number of people in the group I was in tonight talked about what Bible Fellowship had meant to them in the past. They also realized that this is a tool that they want to use in the lives of other people.
We must not forget. We are building a church for those that are not here yet! I know of a number of people that are getting involved in a class that are doing it for the first time. This is so encouraging. Now is the time to get involved yourself or invite someone else to join you. Bible Fellowship is a wonderful tool for us to choose in sharing the gospel. We need to use it every chance we get!
