Nicaragua Bound

It is now 4:00 a.m. and our kids are on their way to catch a flight in Atlanta for Nicaragua. Even at 3:00 a.m. there was a sense of excitement and anticipation as they boarded the buses. As a parent, we are always concerned when they are headed to another country. As you look over the group of parents, you can sometimes tell those that have a teenager going for the first time.

We expect this to be another great experience for our young people, for Chosen Children ministries, for the people of Nicaragua, and most of all for the kingdom of God. These kids will have a lasting impact on countless numbers of lives.

I expect them to make a difference. I also expect this trip to make a difference here. I pray that the Lord will use this trip in the lives of our young people. They will see the importance of a Biblical worldview. They will get a lesson in what it means to work under difficult circumstances. I pray that it will help them to establish their priorities for their lives in the future. I believe that when they come home that those of us here will be challenged by their commitment to be more of what God would have us to be right here.

You can keep up with their progress by reading the reports posted on our website, www. FirstNorth.org. Make sure you pray for them in the days to come.
