Tonight we have graduation exercises for the fourth graduating class of Spartanburg Christian Academy. This is a great achievement on the part of these young people, and we are very proud of what they have accomplished. Our focus at SCA is to provide them with a quality Christian education that will allow them to stand for the Lord with the proper world view in a very secular culture. Our prayer is that the time they have spent here will only be an investment in what they are going to do in the future for the Lord.

When you come to a high school graduation, you see it as a culmination, but in reality it is only the turning of the page. The future holds for them all types of new opportunities and experiences. It is important that we pray for all of our graduates. During this time of year, I would encourage you to pray for those in your family and those that you know, for this is a time that they will be making significant decisions about future plans, relationships, and how they flesh out their values. At SCA we pray that we are making the type of investment that will bear great fruit in the future. These kids face a tougher world than we have ever seen before. Our prayer is that their faith in Christ might be a solid rock for them in the years to come.
