Saturday we made great progress on the corner property. I appreciate the hard work of all the volunteers that put in several hours on the project. You can already tell a great difference and you get a hint of what the view you will have of our church when it is completely cleared.

This Sunday is going to be an exciting day for a number of reasons.

First of all you will get a picture of the many ministries that we have in the life of our church. You will be impressed with all the ways that we are trying to touch people for the Lord. I want to encourage you over the next couple of weeks to spend some time looking at these ministries. I know you will discover a couple of things.

You will be excited about the way you are able to support these ministries through your tithes and offerings. The contributions that you make are a great investment in the kingdom.

You will also find some places where you can be of service and make a difference for the Lord. No matter what your level of involvement in the life of our church, there is always another opportunity for you to make a difference. The commitment of people like you is what makes a major difference in our effectiveness.

We will also share together in the excitement as we have a short time of praise after the service when we begin to demolish the station on the corner. This is a significant move for us as a church. I believe it will impact us in more ways than we can know.
