What can you say? Death is dead! The grave no longer has a hold on those that believe. As we prepare for Easter, I am always overwhelmed at His love and the power of the resurrection. We have an opportunity and a hope because Jesus is alive. There is nothing that we will encounter that He cannot deal with effectively.

During this season of the year, there are many that would make that profession, but have a hard time fleshing it out because they are consumed by their circumstances. When you are in the midst of crisis, it is often hard to see past it. That is why a walk by faith is so very important. We must constantly keep our eyes on Him. This needs to be a daily practice. A confidence in the living Lord Jesus must be more than an Easter observance.

I would ask you to pray for me as I finish preparations for this Sunday. There will be so many there that need to hear a word from the Lord. Sunday, I will begin a new series of messages entitled, “Protecting a Life that Matters.” That begins with an understanding of and a commitment to the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Sunday is going to be a magnificent day. My prayer is that all that we do will bring honor and glory to Him.
