The 20th Day

Today is the 20th day of our emphasis that we have called 30 days to G.R.O.W. Many people in the life of our church put forth a plan and have asked people to hold them accountable. Experts tell us that we will practice new behavior for 30 days it becomes a part of our life.

I have been working on my plan and it has been a challenging and rewarding experience. I have not arrived by any means, but I am making some progress. As I have walked through this process I have found that some parts of it are more meaningful than I thought they would be. I have also found that some parts are more challenging than I expected.

How are you doing on your plan?

  • If you are doing well, congratulations! It will only get better
  • If you have started and faltered, get up and go again. Don’t live in the midst of guilt because you missed a day or you have not followed through. You are the one with everything to gain. Start again with a new sense of expectation!
  • If you never had a plan, start to work on one now. Use this simple plan
