To the Ends of the Earth
Last night I had a number of people share with me how meaningful it was to hear about the exciting progress that is being made in our mission partnerships here and around the world.
In South Carolina, California, Africa, Nicaragua, South Asia, and East Asia we are seeing some phenomenal things take place. We are seeing growth in every area. We are now starting to partner with foreign churches that are going to have the same type of missions effort that we have. That is what you call multiplication! The same thing is taking place in our partnerships here at home.
I told the church last night that after hearing that report, I was worn out. The truth is that when we support the ongoing ministry of our church and the missions program, each of us is playing a significant part in these fantastic mission opportunities. Al said It and it is so true. “The sun never sets on the ministry of First Baptist North Spartanburg.” That is a blessing from God and there are not many entities that can speak of such personalized involvement.
The best part about it is that this is only the beginning. We are seeing churches planted all over the world and we are praying for explosive growth, in the future. We must remember that with great blessing comes great responsibility. This is just another reason that your G.R.O.W. plan is so important. I’ll talk more about that tomorrow.
