We will have almost 1600 men be a part of our wild game dinners tonight and tomorrow night.  We believe that this is our 13th year to have a game dinner.  I was talking to a man that has done these all over the country just the other day.  I was telling him about our history and he said that we must have been one of the first to use such an event.  I do know that since we began, many others have started having these dinners.

Many people believe that the secret to a great dinner is the speaker and that is certainly important but that is only part of the effort.  We have a group of men that will spend hundreds of hours preparing for this each year.  We have hunters that provide the meat, people that provide door prizes, those that work with tickets, a group that have given a large part of their week preparing this meal and a committed group of servers.
You will not find a better game dinner anywhere.

All of this is for the purpose of sharing the gospel to people that we will not be able to touch any other way.  As I have watched them prepare, I am so grateful for this dedicated group of people.  They are willing to serve in order to make a difference.  It is just another example of how our people are willing to do what it takes to honor the Lord.
