Tomorrow night is a big one for our basketball teams.  All of our teams are doing a great job.   Our girls are very young but they are improving with every game.  They have a great work ethic and a great spirit.  They are a lot of fun to watch.  I can see a great difference in their caliber of play in only a short period of time.

Our boys are having a great season and are seeking to 3-peat.  They have won two straight state championships and are looking for a third one.  That means that everyone is looking for us.

Tomorrow night our girls and our guys play Charleston Collegiate in our gym.  This will be a challenge.  Many people believe that on the boys’ side, these are the two best teams in the state.  We are certainly not taking anything for granted, but it could be a prelude to the state championship game.

If you want to see some great basketball, I suggest you come out and see these kids play.  You will enjoy it and it will be a great encouragement to them.  The girls play at 6:00 p.m. and the boys play at 7:30 p.m.

Our sports program is only a part of what we are trying to do as a school.  We want to excel in everything that we do in terms of academics, athletics, Christian growth and the building of young people that will be champions for Christ.

In every area we must encourage our kids to be the best that they can be.  What they face in a post-modern world is truly frightening.  When we take an interest in all they do, we are making a good investment.
