The Next Step for Spartanburg Christian Academy
On Sunday I introduced Rob McDonald as the new Headmaster of Spartanburg Christian Academy. Rob has served as our middle school and high school principal since the beginning of this year.
Over the last several months we have looked at a large number of resumes and conducted a number of interviews. We have prayed that the Lord would send us the right man to fill this position. The more we worked with Rob McDonald and the more we saw him interact with faculty, students, and parents, the more we realized that he was the man to fill this position.
He has a broad record of experience in education. He also feels called to use his great knowledge and educational skills to build young champions for Christ through our school.
The school runs on a separate budget and in accordance with proper educational principles. The Headmaster also serves as a part of our administrative staff and assists us in coordinating the extensive program of both the church and the school.
Rob is committed to Christian education and preparing our young people to face an increasingly secular world. Our school is doing a great job preparing kids spiritually, educationally, athletically, and socially. We have a great set of kids and parents as well as a wonderful faculty. There are great days ahead.
