Sunday was a terrific day as our people gave almost 1.5 million dollars to our firstfruits offering for “Telling the Story, Touching the Future.”  This was an amazing act of faith on the part of our people.  There was a great sense of excitement as people experienced the excitement of giving.

I have heard numerous testimonies of people that have found a new financial freedom.  They have discovered the joy of giving to an effort that will make a difference for the Lord for years to come.

There was a genuine sense of anticipation concerning what the Lord was doing with people that were seeking to bring their firstfruits to Him.

People are continuing to make commitments to the program.  This is not a matter of money but a matter of submission to what the Lord would have us to do.  I hope you have already made your commitment and experienced the satisfaction and joy of having a real dependence on Him.

Sunday night we had a time of prayer for the twin trees.  We are only a little more than a week away.  I hope you will join me in praying that God will have the people there that He wants to be there.  Also, please pray that we will share the gospel in a very effective way.  We know that there will be many here that desperately need to hear the truth of the gospel and make a commitment to Christ.
