Three Valuable Quilts
This afternoon I went by Mrs. Katherine Prince’s home to pick up the other two quilts that she made for “Telling the Story, Touching the Future.” I spent some time talking to her about her contribution to the life of our church. Over the years she has had an incredible impact on the lives of so many people and the spirit of our fellowship.
I described to how the Lord used those quilts to inspire our church family and just how valuable they are to our ministry. I told her that I wanted to remember her contribution and how those quilts have a special meaning.
She is so humble and had a great servant heart. She was so happy that she was able to have a part in this effort. This lady has a tremendous heart for our church and the Lord continues to use her and other people like her.
For years to come I am going to remember the part that she had humbly played in so many ministries in the life of our church.
It was a good visit and I left there challenged to be more like her. She has always had a very powerful since of dedication and hard work. She is now 90 years old but she is still committed to making a difference. I pray that the Lord will give me that kind of drive. All of us could use a little more of what Ms. Katherine has fleshed out all of her life.
