At the beginning of the year, we made the decision that we were going to give away all of the nearly 20,000 tickets for the presentation of the Twin Living Christmas Trees. This is a part of our theme for the year, “Tell the Story.”

We had planned to offer the tickets this past Monday. We had limited the number of tickets that anyone could get and yet they were all gone on Sunday. We were shocked. We had no idea that they would go so quickly.

We have tried to emphasize giving these tickets to people that are unchurched and need to hear the gospel. We want to give everyone we possibly can the opportunity to see the trees. We are asking people to make sure that they turn back in any tickets that they are not going to use.

We know that we will have some tickets turned in and then we will distribute them to those that can use them.

We are telling people that they can still come without a ticket and if we still have seats available 30 minutes before the performance, we will seat them. This is a great problem to have. All of us should be in prayer for each performance. Pray that people will respond to the message of the gospel.

The response has been overwhelming. This is new territory for us…but it is a very exciting territory. We will keep you posted as things progress.
