As we have been talking about “Telling the Story, Touching the Future”, I have been reminded of the great number of opportunities that we have to share the gospel in our community and around the world.  There is no more important work than the work of the local church.  The Lord has promised to bless the efforts of His church.

Certainly there are many things that we can and should be involved in but it is important keep the priority of honoring the Lord in everything that we do at the forefront.  We are constantly encouraged to be involved in so many “important” things but we must always have an eternal perspective.

We are constantly told that we cannot make a difference.  Nothing could be further from the truth for he follower of Jesus Christ.  We are talking a lot about the projects before us, but he main focus should be what God wants to do in our lives both individually and as a church.

I hope that you are going through our prayer guide.  This is a time when we need to be very intentional in our prayers.  Are you asking God to give you clear direction?  Do not be afraid.  When God gives you the vision, then He is always involved in the provision.

God is going to do some incredible things in the lives of people in the days to come because they are going to get serious about getting a word from Him. It is going to be exciting to see what happens.
