Sunday we introduced our capital campaign, “Tell the Story… Touch the future” in all of our Bible Fellowship classes, as well as our worship service. Each family present received a brochure about the campaign. I have had great reports on the way our teachers handled it in the classes. We viewed the video prepared by Darrell Cothran which was a powerful statement of what this effort is going to do for us.

Sunday night our Bible Fellowship classes met for a special time of prayer for the program. Numerous people have spoken to me about what a powerful and meaningful time that was.

I have now met with about 15 Bible fellowship classes and I am scheduled to meet with the rest in the coming weeks. I hope all of our people will plan to be that their class meeting. I have been encouraged and energized to be a part of every one of them.

I want to remind you that this is not about the buildings and equipment. It is about the lives of people. It is about taking the gospel to everyone we possibly can.

We all know that we should do this. I have not had a single person question whether we should go forward.

We can do this! It is a large amount of money but we certainly have the capacity to do it.

The question is will we do it? That is a question that each of us must answer individually. Each of us should be searching for what God would have us to do.

We have begun our prayer study using our devotional guide. We are only in our second day, but it seems like every day had been written for me. I encourage you to do this everyday. It will be a great experience for you and your family.
