Last night we had a preview of our discipleship courses for the fall.  It is a great line up and I would encourage you to become involved in one of these classes.  The Lord never gives us the right to stay where we are.  He expects us to grow in our relationship with Him.  That means that we need an ever-growing understanding of His Word and progress in living out the principles of following Christ.

I watched people sign up for those classes and I was excited about the possibilities.  You can find people all over our church that are able to tell you about a particular class that really made a difference in their lives.

This fall I will be teaching “Tell the Story.”   This is an evangelism class that is based on using your story to touch other people with the gospel.  We are developing this class based on the experience that we have had this summer.  We have almost 300 testimonies on our website, Itellthestory.com.  Our desire is that number will continue to increase.  People are interested in your story and they are interested in your story as it continues to develop.

Just like every other area of life, we need to get better in our walk with Christ.  We need to get to know Him better.  I find that many times people know that, but they have no idea where to start.  Taking one of these classes is a great place to start.
