The Power of a Personal Witness
Tacoma, Washington is a beautiful city and is a place with tremendous spiritual needs. In November, they will be having a Franklin Graham Festival. This is an area where there is not a large number of churches and many people have never heard the Gospel. It has been interesting for me to spend time talking to pastors in this area and to see their heart for lost people.
This week, I have had the opportunity of sharing the idea of our summer program with numerous pastors and lay people in this area. As I talk about it, I am reminded of the importance of sharing our faith. I hope that you have one of the I’lltel cards and that you are seriously seeking to put the names of those who need to know Christ as Savior.
Our emphasis next week through “Every Believer a Witness” is a significant event in the life of our church. Statistics tell us that many Christians never share their faith. I am excited about the possibilities that this week holds for us as a family of faith. I would encourage you to make this a priority. You are going to find Dennis Nunn to be entertaining, inspiriting, and encouraging. I know that we are going to see tremendous growth in this area. I am very excited about Sunday, and I am looking forward to what God is going to do. As I spent a couple of days here in Tacoma, I have been reminded of the tremendous need, opportunity, and privilege to share what the Lord has done in our lives.
