Becoming Better Communicators
I have had the opportunity to know some great communicators but I have never known anyone that did not have room for improvement. That is especially true in the area of marriage and the family.
Sunday we are going to talk about communication. I see a lot of people that have problems communicating and that leads to all types of other problems. We have a tendency to be sure about what we are trying to communicate but we have no comprehension of what they are hearing. I have seen people that are so weak in this area, they need an interpreter living in the home with them.
The good news is that all of us can get better if we are willing to trust the Lord and have a willingness to work on it. In our selfish culture we are always waiting on others to come to us and please us. When we make the decision to make some steps in this area, it is amazing what we can see happen.
This is exciting because we can all make positive progress in our communication and that will help every area of our lives. This is not only true for you but for those that are around you. Why don’t you use this as an opportunity to be in church with us on Sunday?
Studies tell us that 41% of those that have stopped going to church will come back if they are asked by a friend. You know someone that needs an invitation. You will show them that you care and you will be doing them a great service at the same time.
