This Sunday, people all over the world will be thinking about the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  You have to stand in awe of the power of the resurrection.  We focus on the love of God, the power of God and the greatness of God.  This should be a time when we realize the power of the resurrection in our personal lives, but so many times that is not the case.

We have a tendency to think of the season of the resurrection as some type of theological marvel.  It is something that we like to visit and remember.  During these times we put our daily lives filled with daily challenges on hold.  That is exactly the opposite of what we should be doing.  The resurrection is not only a reminder of what God has done for us but also what He wants to do with us.  There is no challenge or problem that we have that God cannot deal with effectively.

If God can raise the Lord Jesus from the dead, He can certainly deal with the circumstances in your life.  It is not a matter of whether He has the power.  It is a matter of whether we will put our trust in Him and claim His power in our lives.

We are surrounded by those that need that type of relationship.  Even this weekend, you may very well encounter those that need to have an encounter with the living Christ.  When you run into those people, I hope you will use that opportunity to reach out to them, invite them, pray for them, encourage them to be a part of the experience of worship.  It is so very easy for us to do at this time of year and it can be so very important.
