I have mentioned previously that I bought a group of tickets to this year’s edition of the twin trees.  My purpose was to be able to give them away.  I have started that process and I am having a great time doing it.  I find that people are very interested and very appreciative when I ask them to be my guest.

I know that they are going to see a great presentation and they will hear the message of Christmas in a clear and creative way.

People are always more likely to attend something like this when they are invited and this is a tremendous way to build some relationships and share the gospel at the same time.

I have shared this idea with a large number of people and I am starting to hear from others that have decided to do the same thing at one level or another.  It is thrilling to see the excitement in their lives as they see the possibility of using this for the Lord.

I watched the choir load the trees last night and listened to them practice some.  They are ready.  I am praying that God will use each one of them in a special way.  They are committed to doing whatever it takes.  We must do the same.  This experience has reminded me of the fact that it is my responsibility to help see that the right people are in the seats.  There are those that will be there if you extend the invitation.

We are at the very beginning of the holiday season and I am already very excited about the potential that we have to make an impact for the Lord.  I hope you are having the same experience.
