Witnessing
Last night Allison called me from Charleston Southern University. On Sunday she went to church with a group of cheerleaders. For one of the girls, this was only her second time at church. She had a number of questions. Allison started to try and answer some of those questions for her. She found that the girl was very interested and had no knowledge of the gospel. Allison went out and bought her a Bible and will be meeting with her tomorrow. Then she will have an opportunity to share the gospel. I hope that you will pray for her that the Lord will honor her efforts.
We run into people all the time who have little or no understanding of the message of Christianity. We live in a very religious society and yet we have little knowledge of the truth. In all probably, there will be someone around you tomorrow that has no knowledge of the gospel. Let me challenge you to be prepared to share your testimony of what God has done in your life. The Great Commission was given to the church, and as a part of that church, we have the responsibility to take the gospel to everyone, starting right where we are. You will be surprised at what God will do with you when you make yourself available.
