Sunday I begin a series of messages built around the Davinci code. I can never remember so much emphasis being given to something with so little substance. That is always true in American culture, but this takes it to a new level.

It is very easy to deal with the book. History and critical analysis easy deals with all of the misconceptions and fabrications of the book. The question is how and why can such a fabricated story, that we know is fiction, catch the attention of the people of the world. I know the answer but it continues to amaze me.

Dealing with such a subject helps us deal with the real issues and challenges of life. And since all the world is talking about it, we have the opportunity to talk about the truth in a clear and creative way. Whether you have read the book or not, you are going to hear about it and if you are a Christian, you are going to be asked about it. When you hear these messages, you will be prepared.

Please pray for me as I finalize the preparation. There is so much material that needs to be shared. I want to be sure that I do it in a clear and meaningful way. In the days to come I will be sharing additional information here, so tell your friends to take a look at “Staying Connected”.
