Our staff has just finished going through Jerry Falwell’s book “Building Dynamic Faith”.  It is a 31 day process that suggests steps to take in building your faith.  Jesus said, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.”  The Lord wants us to have that kind of faith and we can see it build in our lives.

This was a great process for our staff and I think that all of us were challenged in various areas.  Each of us found that certain days in the process really spoke to a specific part of our lives.  It was fascinating to see that the message on one particular day really spoke to me but was just another day to others.  That’s because each of us are at a different location in our journey of faith.

In the early part of the book, he talked about having a life dream.  This is a dream that comes from God.  It is not about having something or doing something.It is not a wish life.  It is a dream of what you could do with your life.  It reminded me of our “Made to Count” emphasis.

He had an interesting statement.  Falwell said, “I believe the dream God has given me gets me up in the morning, and pushes me all day, every day.“  What a great statement.  We need to be headed somewhere.  I hope you are not just having another day.  I pray that you will have a dream to do something significant for Him and that it will drive you all day long.
