One of the most significant ministries that we have is our “Prayer on the Edge” ministry.  We have several hundred people who have made the commitment to join with at least one prayer partner every week to pray specifically for what is happening in the life of our fellowship.

I am always thrilled to hear that the number of people involved in this effort is on the increase.  Every couple of months we print a prayer guide that is meant to be used as a tool by these prayer partners.  We looked over the next one to be published today.  As I looked at the proof, I was reminded again how important it is that we be a people of prayer.

God is doing some special things in the life of our church.  I believe a major reason for this is the prayer effort of these prayer warriors.  When people ask me about what they can do to make a difference, our prayer ministry is always one of the first things I name.  You will be seeing the new prayer guide in the next few days.  Now would be a great time to join this ministry.

And while I am on the subject, thank you for the prayers that you lift on my behalf.  They mean so much to me and I constantly feel the power of your prayers.  Your faithfulness always makes a difference in my life.
