This evening I watched people sign up for the discipleship classes for this spring.  For some, this is a major step in their Christian growth.  For others, it is another step in a journey that they have been on for a while.  Whatever the case, it is exciting to see people seek to grow in their faith.   Some of them are there because they know it is the next step for them.

We have all types of classes and there is something for everybody.   I rejoiced in seeing the excitement of the people who in only a few weeks will have taken a major step in their Christian life.  Let me remind you that there is a place for you in the area of discipleship.  The classes begin next Wednesday.  Don’t miss this opportunity.

I was not surprised at the response Sunday.  People are discovering ways to make a difference right where they are.  This is not the end, it is only the beginning.  Keep your eyes open for that opportunity!  It is right there in front of you.
