I usually have a hard time going to sleep on Sunday night.  I think it is because I am usually so wound up after the events of the day.  That was certainly the case last night…

Sunday was a great day!  It was so exciting to hear those tremendous testimonies.  The message was powerful and unmistakable.  When people decide that they will be available to be on mission with God, some great things start to take place.  I had so many people share their testimony with me and I have started to receive a number of E-mails.

We had a great deacons meeting on Sunday afternoon.  I am so excited about our new deacons and the spirit that exists in our deacon body.  I think that sometimes we take for granted the spirit of unity that we have in our leadership.  It is one of the things that is very special about our church.

We had a large number of people that checked on the “made to count” care that they wanted to talk with someone about the next step.  We are already working on a way to provide the needed information or opportunity for ministry.

Remember the questions we need to be answering.

1. What am I doing to make a difference in my church?
2. What am I doing to make a difference in the marketplace?
3. How am I impacting the culture?

We must never ignore the power of a small group of people to make a difference for Christ in this world.  It always starts with a few.
